On a plot visit
The signboard shows no planning permit number. You say so, and Walknote writes exactly that.
You photograph a notice where it was posted and say the time. The record keeps your phone's time beside the server's, and the location shows as indicative. Whoever opens the link sees where each sentence came from.
When you approve
Sign it, and anyone can check it.
Approving freezes the report, stamps a fingerprint on it and adds a QR code. Whoever holds the PDF can drop it on the check page and see whether it is the version you signed. That makes it tamper-evident, not certified.

01
The notice in place
A photo of the notice where it was posted, the time of service and the recipient if it was delivered.02
Who inspected
The officer's name and role, and the people present.03
A fingerprint for every photo
Each photo is fingerprinted on the phone and again on the server, and every edit joins an audit trail.04
An evidence pack for your lawyer
The signed report, the original photos and voice, their fingerprints and the audit trail in one export, with a certificate for your lawyer to review and sign.
Walknote does not call an evidence pack court-ready. Your lawyer advises on how a court will treat electronic records.

Asked by planning teams.
No. It records that a notice was served. The notice itself is yours.
Only what you type: the permit number, the floors, the setbacks.
It shows an indicative location, its accuracy and the time. Indoor fixes can be weak, and the report says so.
The roles you set. Share links expire and can be switched off.
