Walknote

For construction teams

Supervise the stage. Keep the record.

Stage inspections, site diaries and snag walks that carry your name only on what you saw.

A civil-society guild counts 653 reported building collapses and 1,616 deaths since 1974, about 55% of them in Lagos. Weak supervision is among the causes people name. A record made on the day, in your own words, is the plainest answer to that.

01On site

On a rebar check

You say what you see: a tie missing at one column, spacing at another wider than the drawing. You measure it and read the number out, and Walknote shows the number beside the words you said. Each photo joins the note you were speaking.

You mark the row Not complied yourself. The cube-test field stays empty until you type the lab report reference. The builder, the engineer and the architect add their own seals and signatures: they are never taken from speech.

On the plot

Pick the area, then shoot and talk.

The area bar stays on screen, so every photo files itself under the area you are in, with the time you took it. Nothing to sort at night.

  1. 01

A picture record for every stage

Regulation 8(3) asks for one. Each photo carries its place and time, and the words you said about it.
  2. 02

Test values tied to a lab report

A cube strength or a reading is typed with the lab report number it came from. It is never estimated.
  3. 03

    Signers you can check

Registration numbers are typed by the signer and can be looked up on the professional regulator's portal.
  4. 04

    Deviations, with the reason

Any change from the approved plan, and the notice photos with the time the notice was served (Code 13.9.5.2).

Questions

Asked by construction teams.

No. You set every rating yourself. A row nobody mentioned reads Not recorded, never Complied.

No. You still file the prescribed copy. Where two documents disagree, such as the floor count that triggers a sub-soil report, the threshold is a setting that cites both.

Yes. The clocks come from the forms, such as the seven-day notice to commence, and you confirm each one.

Every number you say aloud is shown beside your own words. If Walknote AI is unsure of a note, you confirm it before you can sign.
